These three moving paintings probably got you twisted on an early Wednesday morning right? I find them amazing. They are the courtesy of Drew Tyndell, a Nashville based artist with a booming commercial portfolio listing assignments for Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. I can see why they hired Drew, since his work is fresh and free from negative connotations, but I think there is more to his work than being featured on kids TV. These animations are true pieces of art!
ART GALLERY FOR ABSTRACT ART
Unfortunately, there is no Amsterdam art gallery truly dedicated to abstract work. And therefore no art gallery that currently shows the best abstract artist from all over the world. A pity, because I think the lightness of the work and its relation to the more commercial graphic design could work really well in our time. It fits into the Scandi fashion and interior influences that are sweeping our nation and have a quite no nonsens feel that I reckon young adults are attracted to.
Anyway, I would love to see these moving paintings in real life one time. Maybe we should just start an abstract art gallery ourselves?
