I guess my love for First of August is clear by now. I went to their sample sale last Friday and met so many nice people that I almost forgot to shop. Almost that is, because don't you worry about me: I got myself some FoA in the end. Let's just say that I do it all for the love and support for Amsterdam based initiatives..

One of the FoA girls was wearing a hat by Études: a French label focussed on designing men's clothes, that merges perfectly with the FoA collection. Their clothes do perfectly well on the tougher breed of women though and their hats do well on everyone.

Some browsing on the web taught me that Études is for sale at Restored at the Haarlemmerstraat and at the Frame Store at the Herengracht. I already knew Restored, but was not familiar with the Frame Store yet. But as their interior design and fashion brands are right up my alley, I think there is nothing left to do but pay this hotspot a visit soon. Where the love of fashion takes you..
