The day before heading off to Lowlands Festival, I found these Komono Stella sunglasses in pale pink and with red glasses. They made me think of Dame Edna, but decided that they were just on the right side of extravaganza. I did not know the brand before, but soon discovered that Komono sells a variety of arty sunnies and got hooked. I have already had so many conversations with random people about these stunners and I cannot wait to have more of these spontaneous encounters.
The pictures were taken at the NDSM-werf in Amsterdam Noord. By far one of the most creative locations in town. As the sun will be out today, it might be a good idea to head over to Pllek or Noorderlicht and spend some time on the terrace in the sun. I will be heading out with my little boat though, as I guess this could just be the last day of Summer.
