OUTFIT | I HAD A DREAM

Sometimes one can be so lucky that there is no time to blog. Like if they are invited on an amazing shopping trip, followed by a delicious lunch, some more shopping and a high tea in a fancy hotel in Amsterdam. Yes folks, that is exactly what happened to me yesterday. The lovely Tess invited me to join her on a shopping trip, sponsored by ECCO. And as my savings are starting to go down rapidly since we bought the house (yes, buying a house does that to you. So be prepared!) I could not be happier to spend the day shopping without spending any money and while being in the company of probably the loveliest shopping squad out there: Tess, Anna and LizaChloe and their invitees. It probably took me about 0.00002 seconds to take her up on that offer and so we met yesterday (early) morning. A big report on this day will follow soon, but today I already wanted to show you a sneak peek of what I bought. 

Like this Topshop shirt. I had not visited the Topshop store in the Bijenkorf yet, so I was pretty excited to finally splurge my (ok, not my) money on all those things that I had been drooling over online. And although I must say that the store was a little disappointing (think: small racks of jewelry, almost no shoes, expensive collection and a lot of sweaters made from sparkly wool..) they had a few pretty amazing pieces waiting for me. The shirt I am wearing in the picture above is pretty amazing right? An oversized but still tailored tuxedo shirt in black and white: I mean, can it get any better? :-) 

Anyway, I am sorry that my luck got in the way of updating the blog yesterday. Actually, I still feel like I am dreaming a bit and that yesterday was just a daydream and I had just dozed off on the couch. Like I tend to do lately. Only the best part of it is that I am pretty sure that I am awake while writing this (did the pinching the arm and stuff) and that I am sitting next to a pile of clothes that I can not wait to wear soon. So thank you again Tess for a lovely day. Hope to run into you (and the other girls) again soon!
