One of my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning is to read the paper, while having a cup of coffee. Preferably on my balcony or at one of my favorite coffee shops. During my college years, I often sat on the terrace of the Coffee Company in the Kinkerstraat. I know that lots of other cool places - probably much cooler in hipster world - have popped up over the years, but somehow I still visit this one. The coffee is great, the people are nice and there are lots of newspapers to choose from. Besides, the Ten Katemarkt is right around the corner: the best place to shop cheap vegetables and other food stuff.
