HOME | STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER AND EAT

I know we are all world wide web addicts and spend wáy too much time behind the computer: the perfect melting pot of work and play. Sometimes though, you have got to step away from it and spend some time in the real world. Eating, for example. I find the quote in the first picture really funny, as it reflects the craziness we get caught up in online sometimes. Truly addictive. 

INDUSTRIAL COLORED KITCHEN

When we do step away from the computer for a real-life break, we should better do it in a cozy but stylish place. My love for monochrome interiors is big, but my love for basic interiors with a pop of color might even be bigger. And as color seems to make its way back into interior design again, there is lots of inspiration to find on the - yes - internet. Especially the jade green and yellow combo feels really fresh, when combined with industrial materials like iron and wood. The biggest rule is still to keep it simple, but just add a colored element here and there. It makes an amazing difference.
